As exhibited at Overgaden Institute of Contemporary Art, Copenhagen, DK.
Duration: 2,28 min. of digital HD film on a loop.
Fluorescent lights flash rapidly without rhythm and in the darkness of the room it has a hypnotizing effect on the beholder. This work consists of a film almost entirely in black and white that is being projected on a continuing loop. The fluorescent lights have been fastened to a wooden framework in a format similar to a digital display. The different lights flash in various formations of letters, slowly forming the word GLAMOUR. The work is meant to be both dazzling and bewitching in terms of the ambiguous meaning of the word. Dazzling as a rather shallow but glowing expression of succes, wealth and beauty, and bewitching as the ability of the vampire to sedate his victim and suck her blood without her resisting his deadly advances
